Interesting Videos:
This is a video showing the growth of a type of bacillus bacteria on a streak plate. It is not Bacillus lentimorbus, but Bacillus cereus. Nevertheless, it animates how bacteria grow on a streak plate and end up looking like the close-up picture of Bacillus lentimorbus above.

This video is very interesting. It has to do with the japanese beetle and the problems it causes and has caused for people everywhere. It is very informative, however it does not reveal that Bacillus lentimorbus is causing milky disease in these beetles to help reduce their population. Instead, they try to sell you a product that will get rid of the Japanese beetles for you. The first part of the video helpful, but i recommend you stop after 45 seconds in order to avoid the ad.

This link is to an article all about beneficial bacteria such as Bacillus lentimorbus. I definitely suggest reading it. This article is a great way to rid your mind of the stereotype that all bacteria are bad. It introduces the concept of beneficial bacteria and the many ways they can be helpful. This is a MUST READ because it introduces the topic of our website marvelously.
